Urban Photography Workshop – Brighton Walk
This urban photography workshop is tailored for individuals or small groups who want to grow their photographic skills while being out and about in a large coastal city with access to the sea. We’ll meet up near Brighton Station for coffee to chat and discuss your expectations of the session. I’ll also brief you on the basic ethics of urban photography and what you should and shouldn’t do on the streets.
We can also have a little refresher session to ascertain your skill level and plan what we want to focus on. Once that’s done, we’ll get straight into the photography in a few nearby streets in the North Laine area. After that, we’ll wander through The Lanes capturing images in and about the small old-world stores before heading south to the sea.
We’ll spend a fair bit of time between the Brighton West Pier and the Brighton Palace pier, capturing images that tell the story of a coastal city.

Walking Fitness for Brighton
City walking – Fair to good health. There will be stairs, cobbled stones and loads of crossing busy streets to get that photo we see. We’ll be walking for around 4 hours, maybe more, but we’ll stop for a coffee here and there when we see a quaint place.
Below are some of the images from a typical trip from Waterloo Station to Liverpool Street station. You can also see more of my Urban photography on the gallery – Click Here
