Digital advancements have made it possible for us to see the world in so many different ways. Fantastic mobile phones have been designed to promote the visual world we live in and are ever improving. Everyone is taking more images with the ability to review and retake photos instantly. This could never have happened twenty years ago, we simply couldn’t do it.
In the sections below, I share with you some of the basic tips that have stood me in good stead over 35 years of photographing the world around me. Basic rules that still apply no matter what camera you use. Whatever your photographic skill level, we can all learn from each other’s journey. While some of the tips below may help with technical aspects, other’s focus on unleashing your creativity. And it’s that creativity which I hope to help develop within you.
