Abstract Wildlife Photography week #4

The next one out of Lightroom is a little different to the previous few in that it has been processed using a preset which I found. I am not a great follower of monochrome work, purely, because I love colour more. Occasionally I will dabble in converting files to a more moody tone or black and white, but the image has to really grab me, both in contrast and composition.  Also I am lazy, and want to spend as little time as possible processing photos behind a PC.

We were in a jeep in the Masai Mara, on shot with a few grazing elephants, and I took a few abstract photos of their trunk and tusks, when I thought the back end deserved some attention….

Nothing screams texture like an elephant’s skin, and even though I had cropped a few even tighter on the tail, I like this one the most.
