I have just returned from another Southern African trip and once again, was not disappointed. The trip was split into 2 legs, the first being a visit to photograph the wonders of the Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe and the second, was to the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Being on foot with Elephants and Lions in Africa is an experience like no other and was on the top of my list of things to do. Here are a few quickly selected photos from Mana Pools to wet your appetite.
I will do a full trip report once I have edited all the photos.
Species shown.
African Elephant
African Lion
Meves’s Starling
Burchell’s Zebra
Lovely shots mate.
Tell me, that first one, is that the one you spoke about (but never got to show me)? Love how you included the soft pastel blue/clouded sky above the tree.
Hi Wanye … Great images, seems the Wild-eye safari was successful, show us more … Regards Etienne
Gorgeous selection. Love the golden tones and of course the back-lit Zebra shot is my favourite! 🙂
Meneerrrrrrrrr
Just got back too but from a very different environment! Lovely pics!! I too like the Zebra shot best.
Hope you all well
Gorgeous shots Wayne, looking forward to the story telling as well! All the best, A
Lovely selection of images, Wayne, I too really like the first shot, the stretching elephant in that vertical comp is a good one for sure
Look forward to more images

Thanks for the great comments everyone.
It really is such a special place, alongside places like the Kalahari and the Arctic.
