Over the last few years, I have slowly been loading my back catalogue of digital work onto agencies. These stem from 2004 when I switched from film to digital photography. Photography as a business and income stream did well for me over the many years, but times have moved on. So, I have loaded about 4600 and 5600 onto these two main agencies. There are a few smaller ones that also carry my work, but the main ones have the most pull on the market.
You can buy any of my work from these two agencies SHUTTERSTOCK and iSTOCK
This includes all my wildlife stuff, a load of travel and street photography and anything else that I loved shooting. I now take photos just for me. Oh, and I still teach photography, of course. Something I really enjoy.

My first photo was taken in 1981 on an old Ricoh KR-5. It was a simple model with next-to-zero automated features (I still have it). Everything was manual, and it was the best way to learn. Below are some of the models that I loved the most along the 43-year journey.

With the advent of AI and incredible image and video generation, we are seeing the setting sun on much of what revenue can be earned from photographs. Guiding people to far-off places and things like events and portraits will fight the good fight to the end. It will be a great hobby for those who choose it to be, so get you there and capture the world for you, a much more wholesome endeavour.
